Planning application drawings in Telford, Shrewsbury and Shropshire
If planning permission is required, we can survey the property, prepare the existing and proposed drawings and assemble the information needed for submission. Typical work includes house extension plans, residential alterations, barn conversion drawings, listed building proposals and new house planning applications.
Planning is only one stage of many projects. Once permission is in place, the approved design can be developed into a separate Building Regulations package for Building Control and construction.
Building Regulations drawings and technical design
Building Regulations drawings go beyond the appearance and layout shown at planning stage. Depending on the project, the technical package can address foundations, floors, wall and roof build-ups, thermal insulation, condensation control, drainage, ventilation, fire precautions, acoustic separation, structural openings and specialist design interfaces. For more complex conversions we can also prepare a detailed written specification to sit alongside the drawings.

I already have planning permission. Can you do the technical drawings?
Yes. We can review the approved scheme and develop it for Building Regulations, subject to having the necessary survey and design information.
Do you work with structural engineers?
Yes. Where structural calculations or specialist design are required, our drawings can be coordinated with the engineer's and manufacturer's information.
Do you only work in Telford?
No. Telford and Shropshire are the core area, but we also undertake suitable projects across neighbouring parts of Staffordshire, Powys, Worcestershire, Herefordshire and Cheshire.
Do you prepare loft conversion plans?
Yes. We can prepare loft conversion planning drawings where required and develop the scheme into a Building Regulations package, with structural information coordinated separately where necessary.
